This is mostly the Pyrope variety and is probably the gem most often used as a low cost Ruby alternative. Garnet is the January and Aquarius birthstone.<br>Fine Cut = Precision cut or visually imitates a precision cut. These stones have equal and symmetrical faceting with proper cutting angles ("critical angle') and depth. Depth is between 60% and 70% of size listed. Size can vary +-0.1mm.<br>AAA (unless noted) = eye clean, any inclusions will not be visible to the eye.<br>AA = Inclusions will be difficult to see, yet visible from the face.<br>Keep in mind that you are seeing much more in the photo than you can see with the naked eye, most times over 20x magnification.
